3D artist
HMX Media is an independent, award winning creative agency and digital studio with offices in the UK, US, and India. Our expertise spans a vast range of productions - from commercials, retail video and branded entertainment to feature films, music videos and a full suite of experiential and technical digital executions and websites. We are looking for a talented and experienced 3D artist to join our Soho based production team. The successful candidate will be passionate about stretching the boundaries of filmic expression through animation, lighting and visual effects, and thrive in a team atmosphere. Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the principal aspects of 3D, which include: animation, lighting, shading, texturing and modelling;
  • Mental ray for the production of photo-realistic CG. Ability to tailor lighting set ups to achieve specific creative objectives, and create shading networks and textures to mimic real-world materials;
  • Strong command of both the technical and artistic aspects of computer graphics, with the demonstrated ability to contribute to the entire creative development process;
  • Experience with compositing (After Effects or other);
  • Demonstrated experience working in a deadline driven environment, preferably on commercial productions for respected consumer brands.
Additional desired skills include: camera tracking, MEL scripting, fluid and dynamic simulation. Salary: Competitive Location: London (Soho) Please note that due to the volume of applications received, we are only able to respond to those who are successful.
