Sony Handycam


At CES, Sony launched the new 2010 range of Handycam® camcorders with a range of creative material created by HMX. To support the launch, we created a line-up video highlighting the key new technologies featured amongst the new line-up, such as industry leading wide-angle lenses and the revolutionary Exmor R sensor, which delivers clean images in low light conditions.

HMX also created 28 additional individual 90-second CGI video product tours for each of the new Handycam® products launched this spring, which are used online and syndicated across retail in Europe and the US.

Handycam® products are also available in Studio Infinity.

Sony BRAVIA


In 2010, Sony announced the arrival of an entirely new line up of BRAVIA® televisions with revolutionary new features.

HMX worked closely with Sony to create a captivating online teaser visually highlighting the monolithic design, 3D viewing capabilities, and internet connectivity of the new product line-up.

HMX developed an original and technically challenging concept utilizing live HD projection, stop motion D-SLR photography, 3D animation and visual effects. The result is an intriguing and sensory piece emanating the beauty, technology and design of the new range.

In 2010, Sony announced the arrival of an entirely new line up of BRAVIA® televisions revolutionary monolithic design and a host of cutting edge new technologies such as 3D viewing. HMX worked closely with Sony on both sides of the Atlantic for the product launch. We created a line up teaser for use online and at the global press event, as well as an immersive online micro-site for the US market. The micro-site features a photo-realistic CGI environment, and provides customers with a unique perspective on the philosophy and benefits behind the innovative new design.

HMX also created 14 individual 90-second HD videos for each of the new BRAVIA® products, which are used online and syndicated across retail in Europe and the US.

The entire BRAVIA® range is also available in Studio Infinity, and is used extensively by Sony's agency partners to create stills for online and print.

Nokia Point&Find


HMX assisted Nokia with launching Point and Find in 2009, which is a new service that utilizes advanced real-time image processing and recognition technologies to connect consumers with information and services on the go via their camera enabled phone.

HMX has developed the creative materials to support Nokia's marketing efforts towards both business and consumer audiences. We have created an anthem video to communicate the essence of the product towards end users, as well as a tutorial video explaining how to download and utilize the service. Additionally, we have created a series of 3 specific videos targeted towards specific target customer segments, as well as a management portal tour that intuitively explains how to set up and manage a Point and Find experience.

Sony VAIO


HMX has been working closely with Sony VAIO in the US and Europe for over 5 years, creating experiential product launch and branding videos, online product tours, and experiential product micro-sites.

Most recently, we have created launch assets for the VAIO X Series and VAIO Z Series - both of which were global deployments. Each video has received well in excess of 100,000 viewings on Sony's Youtube channel.

HP


HMX works with HP to provide global product launch support for all new workstations. We create high definition CG product tours that feature a ground breaking level of animation detail showing configurable and serviceable components, branding materials, training materials, print materials, rich media enabled documentation (data sheets and PPT) and stereoscopic 3D presentations.

Sony Bloggie


In 2009, HMX partnered with Sony Electronics in the US to support their entry into the mini camera/ HD recording space with the launch of the Sony Webbie. HMX created a package of creative launch materials including a launch video, lifestyle photography, and product tours.

In 2010, Sony has taken functionality and performance within the category to a new level with the launch of bloggie™, which is now available globally. HMX created an experiential video for the press event, retail distribution and online deployment. Additionally, HMX also created specialized interactive online articles that further explain product features, as well as 2-minute video product tours for all bloggie products that are currently available.

Sony Cybershot


At CES, Sony launched the new 2010 range of Cybershot™ digital cameras with a range of creative material created by HMX. To support the new line-up, we created 7experiential launch videos for products such as the HX5V and W350, among others.

HMX also created 11 additional individual 90-second CGI video product tours for each of the new Cybershot™ products launched this spring, which are used online and syndicated across retail in Europe and the US.

Cybershot™ products are also currently available in Studio Infinity.

Thinkpad - Edge


In 2010, Lenovo announced a new brand of ThinkPad® - the Edge. Targeted at small business users, the Edge features progressive design that has not yet been seen on a ThinkPad®, and remains true to the original ThinkPad® values of outstanding performance and reliability.

Lenovo partnered with HMX to launch the flagship model with an online video featuring advanced visual effects and 3D animation, in order to project a bold new image for the new Edge sub-brand of Lenovo. The video showcases all of the key features of the product, and has reached millions of customers across Lenovo websites in 14 languages, as well as on Youtube. The HMX Edge video also headlined Lenovo's participation in CES 2010, where the Edge brand was revealed, when it was displayed in HD on a 5 x 5 screen video wall.

Sony Alpha


HMX has worked with the Sony alpha team in Europe, the US and Japan since the D-SLR brand itself was launched in 2006 with the arrival of the a100. Since then, HMX has created numerous award-winning videos and online assets in the US and Europe to support the launch of all new alpha products.

Adidas


HMX has worked with adidas since 2005 as a specialized partner for 3D animation, visual effects, and product configuration and visualization. We have worked on numerous campaigns for football and running, and also provide the core technology for the miadidas product configurator, which is used in-store and online.
