We’re looking for a Producer to be based in our London office. The role requires you to lead the creation of CGI and live action promotional videos, CGI photography, key campaign visuals, and real-time 3D experiences. You will need excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills - as well as the ability to work well under pressure with a forward-thinking approach. The right candidate will be a natural at building and managing strong client relationships.
For our internal CGI, creative and post production teams, you’ll be the point of contact on every aspect of a project - from initial briefing to final delivery. You’ll offer guidance on the best way to make an idea happen, and while it’s important that you deliver projects on time and within budget, it’s critical you possess the passion and commitment needed to help make great creative work.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
The ability to define client requirements, and then plan and resource a project accordingly with our creative and visual teams
Ownership at every stage of production. It’s critical you have a great eye for detail, strong ideas and opinions.
Production experience. You know how to budget, negotiate, schedule, hire and set up shoots.
Post production experience. You’re comfortable scheduling and supervising post-production work including editing, 3D production, compositing, motion graphics and music production.
Digital Experience. Experience delivering WebGL/HMTL5 projects, CGI, Unity AR and Interactive Content also recommended.
An excellent understanding of the post-production pipeline. You know what needs to happen and how to estimate and plan accordingly.

We’re looking for a Graduate Producer to join the Project Management team and support the delivery of projects of variable size and scope to blue chip clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with interests across technology, marketing and communications.

FX TDs at HMX gather a variety of 3D assets produced by our Modelling and Animation departments and use off the shelf software – primarily Houdini but also Maya to create CG renditions of naturalistic physical or magical phenomena such as fire, water, clouds, smoke, physical destruction and particulate.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in producing effects such as smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam and explosions, plus experience with particle and voxel based rendering.
An eye for details, good sense of timing, and thorough understanding of techniques and technologies relating to physical simulation in computer graphics.
Experience in live action FX work.
Extensive knowledge of Houdini.
Experience applying lighting and shaders to produce the final rendered image.
Familiarity with pipeline issues and problem solving.
Familiarity with at least one node based compositing application (Nuke preferred), and a solid understanding of the compositing process.
Experience managing a small team.
Experience in other areas of visual effects (Film, TV, Games) will also be taken into account.
A good understanding of animation and an eye for motion.
A good general TD background.
Maya, Python, Hscript VEX or Mel knowledge.
Experience with the Octane render engine.
Knowledge of Bifrost in Maya.
