Microsoft partnered with HMX to develop a 3D Experience to support its retail employees working remotely from corporate locations to provide sales, training and support. The web based Studio Infinity powered real-time 3D application is used by associates during digital appointments within Teams, via impromptu Live Chat sessions, and by customers post appointment.
The digital experience is designed to bring customers as close as possible to the physical experience of visiting a store. Customers can ‘Take a Tour’ of each product within the 3D environment to explore it in extraordinary detail, personalize their accessories, and then complete their purchase. The online experience was developed by HMX in line with Microsoft accessibility standards, and includes accurate colour fidelity, alt tab navigation and screen reader NVDA/JAWS support.
